Safety is in our numbers
Safety, quality, and productivity are deeply connected. Safety is a part of who we are, and ultimately means we focus on protecting our employees, building owners, and tenants through ongoing training, certifications, and risk mitigation processes.
When employees feel safe and know they have the support of their company to do the right thing, they are happier at work and perform their jobs exceptionally well. Every one of our employees is a valued member of our family, and we strive to provide them with the safest job sites in the country.
Intermountain Electric’s Safety Committee is dedicated to fostering a culture where safety is paramount. Our employees participate in safety observation practices and near miss reporting through our very own app. The app allows us to better educate the organization on ongoing safety improvements. These observations are then added to our safety process, so that the same mistakes aren’t repeated.
SITE-SPECIFIC SAFETY PROGRAMS
Each site has specifically tailored daily safety programs designed to identify, mitigate, and eliminate safety issues.
We are committed to fostering a safe and healthy environment for all of our employees and clients. Our Safety Committee creates industry best practices for our field team to live and work by.
NOT JUST A METRIC
Safety is more than good statistics. IME empowers our personnel to enforce our rigorous safety standards.
WE SAVE LIVES
Our team of professionals are trained in First Aid, CPR, and MSHA requirements. In the event of an emergency, job site-related or otherwise, our 24/7 trucks and vans are equipped with AED or automated External Defibrillator devices. To date, our team has saved the lives of 12 people with the help of training and safety knowledge.
