Since 2009, Tom has worked in a number of roles with Intermountain Electric, Inc. Tom brings a diverse background in all facets of business in a variety of industries both domestically and internationally. He sits on the boards of for-profit and non-profit organizations and holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Denver. When not leading the company, Tom enjoys fly fishing, golfing, paddle boarding, and spending time with family.
VP of Operations, Reno
Tom, a lifelong electrician, serves as IME’s Vice President of Reno Operations, where he is responsible for overseeing all business development, estimating, operations, profit and loss. When Tom isn’t successfully leading the Reno office, he can be found woodworking in his garage, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Director of Construction
A veteran of the electrical contracting industry for over 30 years George Kettlewell serves as IME’s Director of Construction. In his role, he is involved in preconstruction, estimating, client relationships, and manages field personnel on all IME projects. George is very passionate about developing talent within IME including field leadership and craftsmen. When not leading IME’s projects, George is a certified SCUBA trainer, and he loves spending time with his family in the Rocky Mountains, where he is currently building a cabin for his family to enjoy.
VP of Finance
As the Vice President of Finance, Bob advises the management team about financial planning, cash flows, and investment priorities. He also provides leadership and coordination of budget management accounting, forecasting functions, financial training and development as it relates to the operations team. Outside of running IME’s financial operations, Bob enjoys camping, fishing, and mountain biking.
VP of Preconstruction
As Vice President of Preconstruction, John oversees the development of estimating and preconstruction processes to ensure an unrivaled customer experience. John is also a large advocate for education, as he commits a portion of his time to Colorado State University, where he serves as an adjunct professor in the Construction Management Program. Here he translates his experiences in the construction industry and real-life scenarios into classroom learning for his students. When not at work or educating, John enjoys spending time with his three sons.
VP of Innovation
Serving as Vice President of Innovation, Jason is at the forefront of implementing new ideas and technology into IME’s everyday processes. In this role, Jason works closely with the Construction and Operations Departments to execute product development, new service offerings, implementation of new technologies and streamlining procedures. Outside of work, Jason is a proud hockey dad who spends his free time on the golf course and mountain biking.
Director of Service
Tom has fulfilled various roles for IME over his 15+ years with the company. In his current role of Director of Service, he is responsible for coordinating and executing superior service to both office and field operations. Tom’s background in electrical field work and project management is ideal for ensuring building owners and general contractors have what they need, when they need it.
